SUPPORT
My job is to support you, and I draw on nearly 20 years as a therapist to do so. I am not going to be shocked or judgmental about what is happening in your life and how you are coping. I can hear your story, and I can support you as you make sense of it.
If I am working with your child, I take the same approach. Support comes first, then, drawing on targeted therapeutic tools, I help your child find his or her path. I will work with you to achieve lasting changes in your lives.
GROWTH
I have worked with children as young as four surviving trauma, teenagers developing their sense of self, couples negotiating their relationships, and individuals needing to say something they've been too afraid to say. It's your journey, and we can bring it into focus.
My approach is collaborative. We'll work as a team to address your needs and help you develop resilience in coping with both daily stressors, such as work, school, and family challenges, or intense ones, such as sudden loss, anxiety, divorce, grief, trauma, depression, and abuse.
